The Zambia Alliance for Agroecology and Biodiversity (ZAAB), in collaboration with various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), hosted the inaugural Zambia Food Systems Insaka from 6th to 7th September 2023, under the theme “My Food Is African.” The purpose of this event was to convene stakeholders from diverse sectors of society to discuss and deliberate on policies, programs, and challenges related to Zambia’s food systems. The Insaka aimed to address pressing issues such as hunger, malnutrition, climate change, biodiversity loss, and the need for inclusive economic growth.
